TTC India Immersion Tour – Lithium Ion Battery
From November 2nd to 9th, Ecomet had the opportunity to participate in the TTC India Immersion Tour, a unique experience in the Indian lithium battery recycling market. This event, organized by the EU-India Trade and Technology Council, Working Group 2, provided numerous insights and allowed us to create partnerships with key industry figures.
We would like to thank the European Commission and the following companies for their support and collaboration: Eneris, Batx, Lohum, LW3 e Recyclekaro.com. A special thanks goes to Leena Thomas, Juliane Frommter, and the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser of the Government of India for their invaluable contribution.
The immersion in the Indian market was an important opportunity for growth and learning for Ecomet, enhancing our skills and expanding our perspectives in the battery recycling sector.
Looking to the future, Ecomet sees the Indian market as a strategic opportunity to further expand our activities. The partnerships created during the tour and the knowledge acquired will allow us to develop innovative and sustainable solutions, actively contributing to the growth of the battery recycling sector in India. We are excited about the future prospects and determined to consolidate our presence in this dynamic and ever-evolving market.
In particular, Ecomet intends to develop innovative solutions such as advanced material separation and recovery systems, low environmental impact recycling technologies, and digital platforms for efficient battery lifecycle management. These solutions aim to improve recycling efficiency, reduce operational costs, and minimize environmental impact, thus contributing to a more sustainable future for the battery industry.
